Who we are
This website belongs to Gozo Guitar Lessons, run by Rob Galley and based in Marsalforn, Gozo, Malta. For anything to do with your personal information, email robtheguitarist@msn.com or call 7907 8235.
Information you give us
This website has no forms and does not collect information from you. If you email, call or message Rob, he receives whatever you include, such as your name, phone number, email address and what you would like to learn.
That information is used only to reply to you and to arrange and run lessons or guitar work you ask for. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract and, afterwards, performing that contract. It is not sold or passed to anyone for marketing.
How long it is kept
Enquiries that do not lead to lessons are deleted within 12 months. Records relating to paid lessons are kept for as long as Maltese tax and accounting rules require.
Cookies
The site stores your cookie choice in your browser so it does not have to ask on every page. With your permission only, it would also use Google Analytics to count visits. Nothing optional is set unless you allow it, and you can at any time.

If you allow analytics, Google Ireland Limited processes usage data such as pages viewed and approximate location on our behalf. Google may transfer data outside the European Economic Area under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
Links to other sites
Links to YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok open those services, which have their own privacy policies.
YouTube videos
The home and About pages show Rob’s videos as still images stored on this website. Nothing is requested from YouTube until you press play on a video. When you do, the player is loaded from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced address (youtube-nocookie.com), and Google Ireland Limited then receives your IP address and may store information on your device, under Google’s privacy policy (opens in a new tab). If you would rather not, use the “Visit Rob’s channel” link or do not press play.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation you can ask for a copy of your information, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to or restrict its use, and withdraw consent at any time. Email robtheguitarist@msn.com to do so.
